Project Runway Junior

I am happy to announce that there is going to be a Project Runway Junior for young, aspiring fashion designers!

I just received an email advertising the official Project Runway Junior and the deadline to apply is May 4th. My one complaint is that they could have alerted me earlier! That was pretty upsetting. I won't be able to enter because I found out with such little time left =(

To qualify, you must be between the ages 14 and 17.

I hope some of you will enter because I would love to see some of our designs you enter! Good luck!

Icons of Style

Jelen and I have been discussing our idols recently and decided to share ours with you! My idol is the one and only Coco Chanel and Jelen's is Audrey Hepburn. They are both remarkable icons of the past.

Audrey Hepburn was most known for her stunning acting skills in movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday. She was also a fashion icon and was active during Hollywood's Golden Age. Hepburn is such an inspiration to all considering how she grew up. Her parents divorced and she often moved around a lot. She was sensitive and emotional. But she loved to dance and perform. She thrived and became a successful actress as an adult.

Coco Chanel was famous for her designs. But, before rising to fame, she dealt with many struggles. For example, after her mother passed away, her father sent her to an orphanage. There, she learned how to sew which was the inspiration of her career. Before becoming a designer, she had a brief singing career which was when she got the name "Coco." She later became known for her trademark suits and the little black dress.

Who is your idol or favorite style icon? Tell us in the comments! We'd love to hear from you!

My favorite was the Caged and Printed High-Low Dress. It was $26.99. This is the dress below.

Jelen really liked the Daisy Crochet Strapless Skater Dress. This dress is priced at $24.99. The dress is shown below.

My apologies that the pictures came out blurry!

Graphics

Graphic T-shirts are fashionable and in style, depending on how you wear them. If you go over-the-top casual, it can look messy in some cases.

Graphic T-shirts are not "boyish and meh" like you may think. They are actually quite comfortable and they go with any bottom! They are perfect for any casual occasions.

If you are into crop tops, they have them. If you like tight-fitted tank tops, they have those too.

Below are some adorable graphic tees I found online.

Here is a link to Amazon.com with so many options of graphics for women:

50 Shades of Turquoise

Ahhh yes, turquoise.

It's a truly beautiful color that can be used for multiple occasions, whether it's a casual get-together, an interview, or a formal party.

Below are some photos of of turquoise fashions!
